BANDAI SPIRITS' popular prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, is set to release a new figure of "Summer Time Rendering" heroine Ushio Kofune in August 2022!
"Summer Time Rendering" (サマータイムレンダ) is a suspense manga created by Yasuki Tanaka, which began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in October 2017. The story kicks off when protagonist Shinpei Ajiro returns to his hometown, Hitogashima, to attend the funeral of his childhood friend, Ushio Kofune. During conversations with his friends, Shinpei learns that Ushio's death, initially thought to be an accident, might be more sinister. Simultaneously, strange occurrences begin to plague Shinpei, all seemingly connected to the island's ancient legend of "Shadow Sickness." The anime adaptation of the series began airing on April 14, 2022.
This figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, bringing to life Ushio's iconic look from the manga, featuring her in a one-piece swimsuit with her long golden hair flowing in the wind. It perfectly captures the moment she first appears in Shinpei's mind, complete with her right hand gently caressing her hair, a tender smile, and beautifully rendered clear blue eyes.
