BANDAI SPIRITS' Hobby Division is expanding its high-precision "RG (REAL GRADE)" model kit series with a new release from "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar." Following the previously announced GaoGaiGar, the company has now revealed "Goldymarg," slated for a September 2022 release. This highly anticipated item will be exclusively available through Bandai's official online store, Premium Bandai.
The GGG Mobile Unit initially developed the powerful "Goldion Hammer" add-on armament to mitigate the physical strain on Gai during his "Hell and Heaven" finishing move. However, its immense power proved too much even for GaoGaiGar itself. To allow GaoGaiGar to wield the Goldion Hammer more effectively, GGG then developed an arm unit that connects to GaoGaiGar's right arm. This not only significantly reduces the Goldion Hammer's impact but also releases an energy coating that envelops GaoGaiGar's entire body, transforming it into a golden form to unleash the devastating "Hell and Heaven Hammer" special move, which drives light nails into the enemy. Furthermore, the Goldion Hammer can transform into its tank form, the "Goldion Tank," and its robot form, "Goldymarg."
The "RG Goldymarg" model kit boasts the intricate part separation and detailed sculpting characteristic of the RG line. It utilizes clear parts and metallic 3D stickers to recreate chest details and other intricate designs. Additionally, it includes original Realistic Decals to further enhance markings and other fine points on the unit. It also features a three-form transformation mechanism, allowing it to shift between its robot, tank, and giant hand & hammer configurations, each with show-accurate mechanisms and flexible articulation.
When transformed into its Golden Giant Hand & Goldion Hammer configuration, this kit allows the separately sold "RG GaoGaiGar" to recreate its powerful armed poses. The hammer itself measures an impressive 25 cm in length after transformation, while the giant hand features fully articulated fingers for a wider range of expressive poses. It also includes the deployment mechanism for "Hammer Heaven" and spike effect parts for "Hammer Hell," perfectly recreating the iconic "Hell and Heaven Hammer" finishing move.
