TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has officially announced two new additions to its popular "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E." line: the "GAT-X105 Strike Gundam" and the "AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker & Effect Parts Set," both from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED." These highly anticipated figures are slated for release in September 2022.
The "ROBOT魂 Strike Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E." masterfully blends the mobile suit's design schematics with its on-screen appearance, boasting sleek, sharp armor lines and a highly articulated joint design. New joint mechanisms in the chest and ankles allow for even more dynamic posing.
Its arsenal includes a Beam Rifle and an Anti-Beam Shield. The two Armor Schneider combat knives can be wielded in both hands, or recreated in their deployed state from the side skirts using interchangeable parts. The figure also comes with two types of effect parts, perfect for replicating the head-mounted Vulcan Cannons firing and the backpack thrusters blasting off!

Meanwhile, the "ROBOT魂 Aile Striker & Effect Parts Set ver. A.N.I.M.E." includes the AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker pack itself, Beam Saber effect parts, Beam Rifle firing effect parts, backpack thruster effects, and explosion effects. This set can be combined with the separately sold Strike Gundam main figure to form the "Aile Strike Gundam." The shoulder connection parts feature an articulation mechanism, ensuring they don't interfere with the Strike Gundam's shoulder movement.
The diverse array of effect parts allows collectors to recreate iconic anime battle scenes, from Beam Rifle firing and shield impact explosions to the Aile Striker pack's nozzle propulsion and the dynamic curved beam of a swinging Beam Saber.
