BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectibles division has officially announced the latest addition to its popular "ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E." series of articulated robot figures. The "GINN" from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" is set to launch in October 2022.
The ZGMF-1017 GINN stands as the Cosmic Era's first mass-produced mobile suit, developed by the Z.A.F.T. military. Equipped with a pair of thruster wings on its back, the GINN boasts high mobility in both space and on land. Furthermore, hardpoints on its side skirts and legs allow for a wide array of armaments. Beyond its standard "Heavy Sword" and "76mm Heavy Assault Machine Gun," it can be outfitted with a "Short-Range Guided Missile Launcher," "Special Heavy Particle Cannon," "500mm Recoilless Rifle," and other diverse weapons to suit various combat scenarios.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS GINN ver. A.N.I.M.E." meticulously blends the mobile suit's design blueprints with its in-anime appearance, resulting in a refined yet robust heavy armor. Flexible articulation is engineered throughout the figure, including the abdomen, legs, and the base of the backpack's twin wings, enabling collectors to recreate dynamic poses straight from the anime. Armaments included are the 76mm Heavy Assault Machine Gun, Heavy Sword, and leg-mounted 3-barrel missile launcher. These can be combined with machine gun firing effects and Heavy Sword slashing effect parts to bring intense battle scenes to life!
