LEGO officially unveiled its latest "Back to the Future" set yesterday evening (the 17th), the highly anticipated 10300 "Time Machine"! It's slated for an April 1, 2022 release.

Comprising 1,872 pieces, the LEGO "Back to the Future Time Machine" measures 35 cm long once built. Beyond its highly accurate recreation of the iconic vehicle, the most exciting feature is its 3-in-1 build option, allowing fans to construct all three distinct versions of the DeLorean as seen across the original film trilogy. Builders can choose to assemble the lightning rod from the first film, the futuristic Mr. Fusion and hover conversion from the second, or the white-rimmed tires from the third. The sleek lines of the DeLorean DMC-12 sports car are meticulously captured, with its surface rendered in an abundance of gray flat tiles, giving it a sophisticated, collector-grade finish!

The set boasts impressive playability and accessories, including opening gull-wing doors and a functional hood. The wheels can be flipped to engage hover mode, complete with transparent bricks to simulate a floating effect. Key features also include a light-up brick representing the iconic Flux Capacitor, a dashboard printed with crucial dates, a vibrant hoverboard, a plutonium case, and a printed "OUTATIME" license plate. Beyond the stunning vehicle, the set also comes with Marty McFly and Doc Brown minifigures, designed specifically from "Back to the Future Part II," along with a display stand reminiscent of the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS). This entire package is brimming with intricate details and nostalgic callbacks – a definite must-have!
