Japan's Bandai Candy toy division recently announced its latest release for the popular "SO-DO CHRONICLE" Kamen Rider action figure candy toy series: "Kamen Rider Kabuto," slated for a July 2022 release.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE" candy toy figures stand approximately 10 cm tall, boasting intricate sculpting and impressive articulation. While some parts come pre-painted, the products are divided into two types: body sets and armor sets. Collecting both allows you to assemble the complete Kamen Rider figure along with its dedicated weaponry. Included color-correction stickers further enhance the accuracy to their on-screen appearances.
This exciting lineup features five primary Riders from "Kamen Rider Kabuto": Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider TheBee, Kamen Rider Drake, Kamen Rider Sasword, and Kamen Rider Gatack. By collecting both the body and armor sets, fans can assemble each Rider's Masked Form or Rider Form, bringing a total of 10 distinct forms to this wave.
Notably, Kamen Rider Kabuto's figure masterfully recreates the show's iconic "Masked Form armor covering Rider Form" design. The outer armor can be detached, and the jaw horns rotated upwards, allowing collectors to perfectly recreate the thrilling "CAST OFF" transformation scene. Furthermore, the overall articulation design is exceptionally well-engineered, enabling dynamic poses, including the signature "Rider Kick" special move!
