From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts figures from the skeletal structure to capture the original heroic aesthetics and natural articulation of Tokusatsu heroes, has finally announced the long-awaited "Kamen Rider Kuuga Titan Form" is slated for an August 2022 release.
Kamen Rider Kuuga is the transformed state of adventurer Yusuke Godai, who dons the ancient Linto warrior's transformation belt, Arcle, found in the Kurowayama ruins. He is the legendary warrior who fought against the Grongi tribe, also known by the police as "Unidentified Life Form No. 4." Thanks to the spirit stone "Amadam" embedded within the Arcle, Kuuga can transform into various forms, each manipulating corresponding natural elements. Among these, the purple Titan Form harnesses the power of the earth, sacrificing agility for formidable defense and strength. It uses heavy armor to withstand attacks and can transform any sword-like object into its exclusive weapon, the "Titan Sword," to launch powerful offensives.
The "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Kuuga Titan Form" builds upon the previously released Shinkocchou Seihou Kuuga base body. It features new colors, armor, and weapon parts to faithfully recreate the Titan Form's blend of power and defense. The silver-white and metallic purple paintwork conveys the armor's weighty feel. Its armaments include the "Titan Sword" and a "Baton" formed by detaching the handle of the TryChaser 2000, both of which can replicate their telescopic mechanisms through interchangeable parts.
