Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel recently unveiled teasers for two new products from the popular, high-octane anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann": "Gurren" and "Lagann." Detailed product information is slated for release on March 23.
According to the official announcement, these newly teased "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" items belong to an entirely new product series. This line is distinct from their previously released RIOBOT completed figures or PLAIOBOT model kits.
While both of those past product lines primarily focused on the combined "Gurren Lagann" form, this new series specifically features Kamina's Gunmen, "Gurren," and protagonist Simon's Gunmen, "Lagann," released as separate units. This strongly suggests the new series will faithfully recreate the iconic combination mechanism of the two mechs. Additionally, it appears that multiple drill parts across their bodies will incorporate light-up gimmicks.
