BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest addition to their "SO-DO CHRONICLE" Kamen Rider action figure candy toy series. This new release, "SO-DO CHRONICLE SO-DO Kamen Rider OOO Core Medal of Resurrection Set 01," is based on the concluding film "Kamen Rider OOO 10th: Core Medal of Resurrection" and is slated for release in September 2022.
"Kamen Rider OOO 10th: Core Medal of Resurrection" continues the story after the TV series, depicting a world plunged into chaos and terror in 2021. This crisis is sparked by the awakening of the legendary Ancient OOO, who transcends 800 years of time, and the resurgence of numerous Greeed attacking humanity. As the world faces its demise, Eiji Hino, who embarked on a journey to find a way to revive Ankh, finally returns. Alongside Shintaro Goto, Akira Date, Hina Izumi, and others, he joins the resistance and confronts the threats as Kamen Rider OOO.
This first set includes three items: Eiji Hino and Ankh's ultimate form from the film, "Kamen Rider OOO Tajador Eternity," "Ankh (Greeed Form)," and "Ankh (Right Arm)." Each figure features articulated joints throughout the body, meticulously reproducing intricate details like feathers and fingers. While some parts are pre-painted, collectors will still need to apply a significant number of stickers to achieve the gradient colors and costume patterns.
