Bandai Spirits' prize figure brand, Banpresto, recently revealed a massive wave of new products scheduled for an August 2022 release via its official Facebook page. This article highlights a new release from "Naruto": a dynamic figure of Rock Lee!
Unable to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, "Bushy Brow" Lee was dubbed a "genius of hard work" by his mentor, Might Guy, for dedicating all his time to mastering Taijutsu. He possesses an incredibly strong will and a passionate personality, firmly believing that even an underdog can surpass a natural genius through sheer effort. Lee is known for setting bizarre and grueling rules for his training and excels with techniques like the "Leaf Hurricane," "Leaf Rising Wind," "Front Lotus," and "Reverse Lotus." He was even able to open the first five of the Eight Gates while still a Genin. On top of that, Lee is a notoriously terrible drinker who becomes an unpredictable force of nature when intoxicated.
This figure perfectly recreates Rock Lee's signature look, from his bowl-cut hairstyle and super-thick eyebrows to the bandages wrapped around his hands and the training weights on his legs. The overall design is based on his appearance after being promoted to Chunin, featuring the green flak jacket over his jumpsuit. The pose is captured with his legs spread wide in a low stance, left fist pulled back and right hand forward in a knife-hand strike—Lee's classic pose as he charges into battle. You can almost hear him declaring himself "Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast!" It's also worth noting the striking, super-shiny "NINJA" gloss painted onto his jet-black hair. It's an eye-catching detail!
