Japanese company Shono Kikaku's new toy brand MARBO (マーボ) has unveiled the first releases in its "MARBO TAKUMI COLLECTION" sofubi series: the "Action Kamen Shin-chan Ver." (アクション仮面 しんのすけver.), featuring the beloved 5-year-old protagonist from "Crayon Shin-chan"! These figures are slated for release in July 2022.
Action Kamen, the titular hero of Shin-chan's favorite TV show, is Shin-chan's ultimate idol. His signature move, the "Action Beam," and his exaggerated, hearty laugh are iconic. Shin-chan, who loves to imitate Action Kamen, perfectly replicates the hero's movements and laughter – aside from his physique, of course! These new figures, standing between 23 and 26 cm tall, faithfully capture Shin-chan dressed in his Action Kamen costume, complete with the suit's vibrant colors, his thick eyebrows, and his adorable round face. Version A depicts Shin-chan raising his right hand in Action Kamen's cool pose, while Version B shows him holding his helmet. Both versions are incredibly cute!
