Renowned Hong Kong sofubi manufacturer Unbox Industries has joined forces with Japanese vinyl toy brand Refreshment Toy to unveil a brand-new sofubi figure: "Slimer", based on the classic horror-comedy film "Ghostbusters"! Pre-orders are slated to open on March 26, 2022.
The popular gluttonous ghost, Slimer, who left a deep impression on audiences in "Ghostbusters," is a perfect match for Refreshment Toy's distinctive design aesthetic. Hailing from Osaka, Refreshment Toy is renowned for seamlessly integrating colorful cakes and desserts into their character creations, such as the highly popular Exotic Cat Cupcake, the cupcake-infused King Cuppy, and the popcorn-shaped Pocco Popcorn, among others.
This new interpretation of Slimer by Refreshment Toy boasts a substantial size, featuring vibrant frosting and cream adorning its eye-catching green body. It clutches both an ice cream cone and a cake in its hands.
