The "PLAMAX Head Collection" series features highly detailed 1/20 scale model kits of iconic fighter jet cockpits from the popular sci-fi anime "Macross" franchise. Once assembled, these kits boast an impressive size of approximately 30 cm, meticulously recreating the internal cockpit structure and including decals with various aircraft markings. This latest release focuses on the VF-31J Siegfried, piloted by protagonist Hayate Immelmann in "Macross Delta."
The "PLAMAX VF-31J Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann's Machine)" kit meticulously captures the sleek curves of the aircraft's nose, along with intricate details within the cockpit and storage compartments. The landing gear is also included, serving as a display stand, showcasing finely sculpted control sticks and mechanical piping. The cockpit canopy is crafted from clear parts and features an opening mechanism, faithfully reproducing the hexagonal sensor array at the front.
