To commemorate the upcoming release of the 3D animated film "Lightyear," Japanese model maker Kaiyodo is reissuing a revamped 1.5 version of the classic "Woody" from "Toy Story" in its popular Revoltech articulated figure series. The figure is slated for release in July 2022.
The "Revoltech Woody Ver. 1.5" largely retains the sculpt and articulation design of its predecessor, standing approximately 15 cm tall and featuring 17 points of articulation. This new version significantly enriches the accessory count by adding three newly sculpted face plates and an Alien figure!
Beyond the original smiling face and the infamous mischievous grin that's etched into many fans' memories, the figure now includes three new expressions: a surprised face, a closed-mouth smile, and a dumbfounded face. The eyeballs also retain their movable design, allowing for an even wider range of emotional displays for Woody!
Accessories include his cowboy hat, Lenny the Binoculars, a microphone, various interchangeable hand parts, and the newly added Alien figure. The Alien's three eyes are also articulated, allowing for fun scenes recreating interactions with Woody!
