BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS has announced the latest wave of its 6-inch action figure line, "GUNDAM UNIVERSE," designed for "Mobile Suit Gundam" fans worldwide. This new lineup features three iconic mobile suits: the "00 Raiser," "Gundam GP01Fb Full Burnern," and "Leo," all slated for a September 2022 release.
The "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" series utilizes the globally popular 6-inch scale, packing excellent armor detailing, paint applications, and articulation into its 15-16 cm figures. Each mobile suit's design often features unique interpretations compared to its original anime appearance, resulting in sharper, more robust, and three-dimensional armor lines from any angle. The robust joint designs also ensure great playability. While accessories may be relatively sparse, this is reflected in the accessible price point, with most items currently retailing for 3,300 JPY (tax included).

Appearing in the second season of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," the 00 Raiser is the combined form of the protagonist's 00 Gundam and its support unit, the 0 Raiser. True to its in-show depiction, the figure allows for free combination and separation of the two units. Its primary weapons, the two GN Sword IIs, also feature a transformation gimmick into rifle mode. Given that this release includes two units, its price is notably higher than standard figures in the line.
