GOODSMILECOMPANY's Nendoroid series, known for its vast lineup of over a thousand articulated figures, is adding another Batman-themed entry. Following releases like the "Nendoroid Batman 1989 Ver." and "Nendoroid Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Armored Batman," they are now launching the "Nendoroid Batman THE BATMAN Ver." based on the latest "The Batman" film. It will retail for 7,300 JPY and is slated for November 2022 release.
Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, the new "The Batman (2022)" film follows Bruce Wayne's two years as the Caped Crusader, lurking in the shadows as a vigilante. To track down the Riddler, a serial killer targeting Gotham City's elite, Batman delves into the city's criminal underworld. Along the way, he encounters iconic characters like Catwoman and The Penguin, gradually uncovering the dark heart of Gotham.
The "Nendoroid Batman THE BATMAN Ver." articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates the new Batman's costume in adorable Nendoroid style, meticulously capturing the stitched texture of his leather cowl. The figure includes three interchangeable face plates: a stoic standard expression, an angry expression, and a "white-eyed" expression perfect for dark knight scenes. An unmasked head part is also included, allowing fans to display Bruce Wayne with his signature dark eye makeup. Additional accessories feature a gargoyle, The Riddler's card, and a miniature Batmobile, enabling collectors to recreate charming and fun scenes from the film.
