Tsume-Art, the premier Luxembourgish statue manufacturer renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and elaborate dioramas of Japanese anime and manga characters, has just announced its latest DC Comics release from the "HQS Dioramax" line: the "The Joker" 1/6 scale diorama statue! Both a standard edition and a DX version will be released simultaneously. This article focuses on the standard edition, with an estimated shipping window of Q3-Q4 2023.
Following Tsume's previous "HQS+ Batman" release, this new Joker statue is also designed in the iconic art style of Jim Lee. The diorama captures the Joker's flamboyant invasion of Arkham Asylum, descending with Harley Quinn-themed balloons while unleashing "laughing gas" on the guards. The scene perfectly blends madness with a mischievous flair. Beyond the Joker's dynamic pose, expressive face, and flowing costume, the guard being sent flying by a gas canister behind him is a major highlight – it looks incredibly painful!
Beyond the central figures, this 72 cm tall statue is packed with intricate details. Features like LED-illuminated searchlights, rusted barbed wire and gates, cracked brick walls, scattered playing cards, and "HAHAHA" and smiley face graffiti on the gas canisters all add significant visual interest to the overall piece. It's absolutely stunning!
