Luxembourg's premier statue studio Tsume-Art, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and elaborate dioramas of Japanese anime and manga characters, has just unveiled its latest DC Comics masterpiece: "The Joker" 1/6 scale diorama statue from their "HQS Dioramax" series! Both the Standard Edition and DX Edition will be released simultaneously. This article focuses on the DX Edition, which is slated for a Q3-Q4 2023 release.
Standing approximately 72 cm tall, this piece, like Tsume's previous "HQS+ Batman," is meticulously designed in the distinctive art style of Korean-American comic legend Jim Lee. While both this and the Standard Edition depict the Joker descending with a Harley Quinn-shaped balloon, the DX Edition takes the scene further. It features the Joker in a prisoner's uniform, complete with handcuffs, an iron gate positioned opposite to the standard version, and his two loyal hyenas, Bud and Lou, transforming the entire display into a dramatic prison escape!
Intricate details abound, including a light-up searchlight with painted red squares, a vibrantly colored Harley Quinn balloon, additional balloons shaped like Bud and Lou, the detonator clutched in the Joker's hand, and even the drool on the hyenas' tongues. This is an absolute must-have for any discerning Joker collector!
