M.I.C., the Japanese prototype and model manufacturer, recently announced the upcoming release of their latest product, the "PRIPRA Figure's Meal Vol.6 1/12 Scale Plastic Model," part of their pre-painted plastic model series "PRIPRA," slated for April 2022.
The "Figure's Meal" series utilizes injection molding with metal molds created by 3D metal printers. These plastic models feature precisely printed, vibrant food colors on their parts, delicately reproducing the hues and luster of ingredients, both raw and cooked, to create an incredibly appetizing look. Furthermore, the 1/12 scale is perfectly compatible with mainstream articulated figures, allowing you to display them alongside your favorite character models!
This latest sixth installment takes on the popular theme of "camping meals." The set includes a rich assortment of parts such as a campfire, salmon (raw and cooked on both sides), steak (raw and cooked on both sides), bone-in meat (raw and cooked on both sides), two skewers, and an iron plate. The precisely printed marbling on the steak, the cross-section of the fish, and the glazed color of the sauced ingredients are incredibly realistic!
