Kotobukiya, the renowned Japanese toy company, recently announced the upcoming release of "Stiletto XF-3 PLUS," the latest addition to their popular "Frame Arms Girl" Bishoujo model kit series, slated for September 2022.
The "Stiletto XF-3," originally released in 2019, was a significant overhaul of the 2017 version. It incorporated the same pull-out shoulder and hip joints, thigh, and skirt armor parts as Gourai-Kai Ver.2. The thigh armor was redesigned with double ball joints, and an additional articulation point was added to the base of the twin-tails, dramatically improving overall poseability.
Accessories include three pre-painted face parts, multiple hand gestures, and waterslide decals. For its exterior, the kit features additional armor designed by Humikane Shimada, along with armaments like a smart gun, missiles, a large Gatling gun, and blades designed by Takayuki Yanase. Even the head horns are all-new parts! The back thrusters come in both standard and drone fighter configurations, and the shoulder armor and thrusters can detach independently to form drone units, offering a wealth of new equipment.
This re-release, the "Stiletto XF-3 PLUS" kit, is fundamentally identical to the 2019 version. However, it now includes the bare body hair parts previously seen in the Low Visibility Ver., but molded in the standard light blue color, addressing a minor omission when swapping out the body in the 2019 release.
