Remember the "Yankee Onigiri" capsule toys we featured a while back?! Well, these adorable delinquents are making a comeback in an even softer form! Japanese toy company ARTUNIV TECHNI COLOUR is set to release the "Boku, Shimaenaga Yankee Onigiri Plush Mascot" series in August 2022!
This collection is based on the viral creations of Japanese photographer Boku, Shimaenaga (@daily_simaenaga). Known for their long-term dedication to photographing Japan's long-tailed tits, the artist not only shares stunning photos of these birds but also creatively combines the "snow fairy," as the bird is affectionately known, with various foods and sweets. Their adorable long-tailed tit onigiri, mochi, and cakes have become a massive hit on social media!

The upcoming "Boku, Shimaenaga Yankee Onigiri Plush Mascot" collection from ATC boasts a substantial 9cm size and a soft, fluffy texture that perfectly captures the feel of the bird's downy feathers.
