The highly popular "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series from BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, beloved by many "Saint Seiya" fans and collectors, is set to release a REVIVAL Version of the Gold Saint Aquarius Camus (カミュ). This figure is slated for an October 2022 release.
In the original manga, Camus was Hyoga's master, while in the anime, he served as Hyoga's grandmaster (as Hyoga was directly trained by the Crystal Saint). Hyoga held immense respect for Camus, who in turn deeply cared for his disciple. During the Sanctuary arc's Twelve Temples battle, Camus, fearing for Hyoga's life, encased him in an ice coffin when the Saints fell into another dimension at the Gemini Temple. Shiryu later shattered the ice coffin with a sword from the Libra Cloth, rescuing Hyoga. When Hyoga reached the Aquarius Temple, he confronted Camus. In their battle, Camus guided Hyoga to awaken his Seventh Sense and master Absolute Zero. The two ultimately clashed with their signature attacks, "Aurora Execution," and Camus, understanding that Hyoga had surpassed him, died with a smile.
This REVIVAL Version of Aquarius Camus builds upon the previous release with improvements, notably in the arm and thigh armor parts, which can be freely interchanged or removed. The figure boasts a rich selection of four interchangeable face plates, along with six pairs of interchangeable hand parts. Combined with the included cape and the EX series' signature articulation, recreating Camus's powerful "Aurora Execution" pose is effortlessly achievable.
