BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectible toy division has announced the latest addition to its METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line, the "Fudodo & Gundam TR-1 Advanced Parts Set," from "Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans." This new release, featuring metallic paint finishes and alloy frames, is slated for a September 2022 launch.
The FF-X29A G-Parts [Fudodo] is a support unit developed by the Titans' T3 unit to enhance the Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom]. Its design is derived from the G-Fighter, primarily composed of sensors, asymmetrical wings that generate AMBAC effects, chest armor, a cockpit, and a Long Blade Rifle. Beyond independent flight, two Fudodo units can combine to form a powerful Mobile Armor, or its various components can be equipped onto the Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] to create the RX-121-1+FF-X29A Gundam TR-1 [Hazel-Rah] (Second Form).
The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Fudodo & Gundam TR-1 Advanced Parts Set" includes two Fudodo units, two types of High-Performance Optical Sensor Units, two sets of Foot Auxiliary Thruster Units, a Multi-Purpose Weapon Rack, a Beam Rifle for combining with the Long Blade Rifle, and other Advanced Hazel replacement parts. While this set does not feature alloy components, it still boasts a premium, heavy-textured paint finish and sharp, pre-printed unit markings.
The Fudodo units feature intricate combination and separation mechanisms, allowing them to pair with the separately sold "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] & Enhancement Parts Set" to create a variety of enhanced armed forms. Collectors can recreate the Sniper Equipment, Advanced Equipment, Hazel-Rah, Hazel-Rah Full Armor Equipment, Hazel-Rah Second Form, and the Fudodo Two-Unit Combination Form, tracing the full development history of the Hazel series.
