Happy Star Wars Day, May the 4th! Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled several new releases celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones." This article brings you the product details for the Clone Pilot 1/6 scale collectible figure.
A pivotal conflict in the Star Wars saga, the Battle of Geonosis – a clash between the Republic and Separatist forces – takes place in the latter half of "Attack of the Clones." As Obi-Wan, Anakin, Mace Windu, and others found themselves in a desperate struggle, Jedi Master Yoda led the Clone Army to rescue the Jedi, who were surrounded by droid armies and on the brink of defeat. With overwhelming force, the clones gradually turned the tide. The Clone Pilot Hot Toys is releasing represents the soldiers who piloted the Republic gunships during this very battle.
Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this figure boasts 30 points of articulation, faithfully recreating the full white-dominated battle armor as seen in the film. The helmet meticulously reproduces the T-visor, the Republic insignia on both sides of the top, and the yellow markings. Coupled with the extreme environment filter connected to the back of the helmet and the utility belt at the waist, the overall design is incredibly sharp! The entire figure features extensive weathering effects, conveying the battle-hardened look of a soldier who has seen combat. Accessories include a pair of binoculars, a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, two bombs, multiple interchangeable hands, and a helmet part inspired by "The Clone Wars" animated series for display options.
