Renowned Japanese toy company RE-MENT (株式会社リーメント), celebrated for its exquisite diorama and miniature collectible series, is set to release a new blind box collection based on the popular ongoing manga and anime, "My Hero Academia." Titled "A Moment on the Way Home" (帰り道のひととき), this series features characters in their iconic U.A. High School uniforms. The collection includes six different designs and was scheduled for release on August 15, 2022.
"My Hero Academia" (僕のヒーローアカデミア) began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2014, with its sixth anime season having premiered in Fall 2022. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a protagonist who dreams of becoming a hero as great as his idol All Might, despite being born without a "Quirk" (superpower). His journey truly begins after he learns All Might's true identity, inherits his Quirk, and enrolls in U.A. High School, where he encounters a diverse cast of characters. The manga's immense popularity stems from its many distinct personalities and its slightly exaggerated, American comic book-inspired art style.
This new blind box series from RE-MENT captures several of Izuku Midoriya's classmates from "My Hero Academia" in their U.A. High School uniforms, depicted sitting on red bricks. Each character's expression is uniquely rendered, perfectly reflecting their distinct personalities.
The six characters included in the series are:
1. Izuku Midoriya
2. Katsuki Bakugo
3. Ochaco Uraraka
4. Tenya Iida
5. Shoto Todoroki
6. Tsuyu Asui
