Following the release of the Jolyne Cujoh Figure Pen from the TV anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean," Japanese toy company Sentinel, in collaboration with Di Molto Bene, is back with a new entry in their Figure Pen series: the Jotaro Kujo Figure Pen. Priced at 5,500 JPY, it is slated for release in November 2022!
Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders," makes a return in "Stone Ocean" as Jolyne Cujoh's father. He arrives at the state prison, nicknamed "The Aquarium," to save his falsely imprisoned daughter. However, while protecting Jolyne, he is ambushed by Whitesnake, and his memories and Stand are stolen in the form of DISCs, leaving him in a vegetative state.
Standing approximately 20 cm tall, the Jotaro Kujo Figure Pen faithfully recreates Jotaro's flamboyant and stylish attire from "Stone Ocean." Beyond his star-patterned coat and floral pants, his facial expression even gives off a youthful, almost de-aged vibe. His iconic "JoJo pose," with hands in pockets and a slight hip sway, is dynamically captured, making for an eye-catching pen. It features a built-in black ink ballpoint pen, with the tip cleverly integrated into the sole of his shoe. The damaged stone pillar base, complete with the crucial DISC, serves as a pen stand. This piece functions both as a display figure and a practical writing tool, ready for use whenever needed.
