Japanese toy manufacturer Kitan Club, known for its fun accessory capsule toy series "Onigiri Ring" (おにぎりん具), is set to release its latest installment, "Vol. 5," in mid-May! This follows the popular "Vol. 1," "Vol. 2," "Vol. 3," and Vol. 4 releases.
The "Onigiringu" series, known for its unique concept of placing a filling-shaped ring inside an onigiri-shaped case, significantly elevates the variety of its onigiri designs for its fifth installment. Moving beyond the initial single triangular onigiri and subsequent flavor variations or round onigiri, this latest collection presents five distinct and luxurious round onigiri designs! These include Salmon Roe (鮭といくら), Japanese Fried Rice (チャーハン), Sekihan (赤飯), Toro-taku (トロたく), and Unagi Meshi (うなぎめし). While previous iterations often highlighted the rings themselves, this volume truly emphasizes the onigiri shells – the Salmon Roe one, in particular, is stunning!
