Megahouse, a leading Japanese toy company, is launching the first wave of figures from its adorable "LOOKUP" (るかっぷ) chibi character series based on "Rebuild of Evangelion"! The initial release features "LOOKUP Shinji Ikari & Kaworu Nagisa." A special two-figure set will be available for 6,996 JPY, with a release scheduled for October 2022.
The "LOOKUP" series features compact, chibi-style characters posed in an endearing upward-gazing sitting posture. Each figure includes an articulated neck, allowing for adjustable head angles. Their charming designs are perfect for desk display, creating a heartwarming and super cute interaction as they "look up" at you.
The new "LOOKUP Shinji Ikari & Kaworu Nagisa" figures each stand approximately 11 cm tall. Both are depicted in their school uniforms, seated in a "seiza" style with knees bent and small hands resting on their laps. Shinji's innocent expression with his signature large, dewy eyes contrasts with Kaworu's captivating, almost alluring red eyes, all enhanced by subtle blush painting on their cheeks.
