The 2022 Star Wars Celebration has recently begun! World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys also unveiled several new "Star Wars" themed products in one go. This article will bring you the product information for the "Death Trooper Black Chrome Version" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship in Q3-Q4 2022.
The "Imperial Death Troopers" are a special unit composed of elite Imperial stormtroopers, primarily serving as bodyguards for high-ranking Imperial officers. The most distinctive feature of the Death Troopers is their highly ominous special vocalizations, coupled with their all-black armor, which conveys an impression of toughness, terror, and cold-bloodedness. In addition to appearing in the film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" as Director Krennic's private squad, they also made an appearance in the seventh episode of the first season of "The Mandalorian."
This figure stands approximately 32.5 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation throughout its body. The electroplated black armor exhibits a striking glossy finish, meticulously recreating details such as the helmet, the left forearm armor equipped with a projectile launcher, the abdominal mechanism, and the belt. Furthermore, the helmet's mouth filter and the scanner next to the left eye are equipped with LED light-up functions, making the figure even more imposing when illuminated! Accessories include a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, multiple interchangeable hands, and an Imperial logo display base. This is highly recommended for collectors who appreciate this cool trooper type!
