The new everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series "Sousai Shojo Teien" from Japan's Kotobukiya toy company today announced its first collaboration product with ZOZOTOWN, the fashion e-commerce platform under Japan's ZOZO Co., Ltd. The "Sousai Shojo Teien BLACK COLLECTION by ZOZOTOWN" will be available for a limited time on the official ZOZOTOWN website from June 17, 2022, 12:00 PM JST to July 4, 2022, 11:59 AM JST.
The "Sousai Shojo Teien BLACK COLLECTION by ZOZOTOWN" will combine Kotobukiya's excellent bishojo plastic model kit technology with ZOZOTOWN-exclusive apparel designs, featuring a limited edition model of Sousai Shojo Teien's popular character, Madoka Yuki.
Furthermore, for this collaboration, illustrator Morikura En, who is responsible for the character designs of the "Sousai Shojo Teien" series, has once again been invited to create new illustrations. These illustrations feature protagonist Madoka Yuki as a ZOZOTOWN fashion model, exuding a cool and mature aura, dressed in trendy black and teal-colored outfits. This collaboration will also utilize this fresh new look to release a wide range of products, including various fashion apparel, acrylic standees, mug & coaster sets, and more.

Based on the previously released standard kit, this model boasts excellent sculpting and articulation. It not only features new black and teal molded colors but also includes additional painted details and newly sculpted, partially pre-painted sneaker parts, perfectly recreating Morikura En-sensei's new illustration.

This product is the hoodie worn by Madoka Yuki in the illustration, produced in collaboration with the renowned doll manufacturer AZONE INTERNATIONAL. It is a model-specific hoodie designed exclusively for the Sousai Shojo Teien series, crafted from scratch using custom patterns.

Various apparel items such as black-based hoodies, T-shirts, and aprons are printed with two new illustrations by Morikura En-sensei, as well as Madoka Yuki's recommended coloring guide from the model instruction manual, exuding both a sense of fashion and deep affection for the Sousai Shojo Teien series. The voice actress for Madoka Yuki, Ms. Kurumi Wakamatsu, was specially invited to serve as the apparel model.

Also utilizing the two new illustrations by Morikura En-sensei, a variety of practical merchandise items such as blankets, mug & coaster sets, acrylic charms, and character standees will be produced.
