Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division announced today at its online new product presentation 'HOBBY NEXT PHASE 2022 SUMMER' the upcoming release of the latest Ultraman plastic model kit, "Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Zero," scheduled for December 2022.
The son of Ultraman Seven, 'Ultraman Zero,' possesses exceptionally high warrior qualities, earning him the title of the strongest young warrior in the Land of Light and the sworn enemy of Ultraman Belial. His personality is free-spirited and rough, yet gentle at heart. Due to overconfidence in his own strength, he sought greater power and approached the core of the "Plasma Spark Tower," violating a taboo. Under the guise of "exile," he left the Land of Light, but was actually taken by his father to the frontier planet K76, where he was entrusted to Ultraman Leo and Astra for rigorous training of his mind, body, and spirit. When Belial's escape from prison caused a crisis, Zero, having matured in both mind and body, returned to the Land of Light as a warrior, utilizing his hard-trained powerful combat skills to successfully repel Belial.
The "Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Zero" is produced using Bandai's meticulously developed color separation and part division technology. All red, blue, and silver sections of the body, as well as the armor-like chest and shoulder designs inherited from his father, are faithfully recreated through individual parts, capturing his cool appearance and colors. The design of the full-body articulated joints is also highly flexible, offering both a wide range of motion and structural integrity, allowing for various combat poses. The chest color timer can be swapped between red and blue versions.
For weaponry, the pair of head darts can be recreated in their detached form through interchangeable parts. Multiple hand gestures are included, allowing the two darts to be held in both hands. Furthermore, the set includes the Zero Twin Sword, formed by combining the two darts, and parts to recreate the powerful beam technique "Zero Twin Shoot" with the two darts attached to his chest. Additionally, the Ultimate Bracelet, an enhancement equipment that allows him to transform into his powered-up "Ultimate Zero" form, is included and can be worn as needed for different scenes.
