Whether it's the familiar soundtrack playing, classic lines being re-enacted, or countless costume performances, Star Wars always appears in everyone's memories in its most iconic forms. Beyond exploring how the Rebel Alliance fights the evil Sith Empire, the series also delves into political negotiations and the intricate power struggles between different interests, adding more diverse dimensions to the work. Today, we're introducing an alien species that often appears in fragmented scenes. Although their military prowess isn't outstanding, their artistic talent brings considerable color and vitality to the entire galaxy.
>>>The Bith

The Bith are an alien species residing on Clak'dor VII in the Outer Rim, characterized by their large, dark, glistening eyes and bald, bulbous heads. In addition to the common yellow skin, some Bith populations also exhibit pink or green hues. Their large eyes lack tear ducts but provide the Bith with excellent vision, allowing them to perceive more intricate details of objects and a broader spectrum of wavelengths. Although the Bith possess five fingers like humans, they lack toe structures.

The Bith do not have noses, but they can detect scents through a unique organ covering their faces. Uniquely, they possess only one lung, and their skin serves as their primary respiratory organ. Although their heads lack ear-like structures, the Bith's auditory abilities are exceptionally sensitive; even faint sounds are amplified many times in their perception, and their mastery of pitch is unparalleled. However, this sensitivity also renders them defenseless against certain sonic weapons.

Unlike most species, the Bith do not require sleep; they can replenish their energy through approximately four hours of meditative rest daily, during which they remain conscious and aware of their surroundings. However, the Bith's reproductive organs have atrophied, meaning they can only reproduce through artificial breeding. Male Bith genetic material is entered into a computer matching system for genetic pairing, and offspring are produced after a year of development.

The Bith are a peace-loving species, not prone to conflict, and due to their more developed brains, their society exhibits a high level of civilization rarely seen in other beings, thus their presence can be found in various corners of the universe. However, in the early history of the Bith nation, various cities were fragmented by their own interests, leading to the Nozho-Weogar War. This civil war tore apart their homeworld, causing many of their people to leave and seek new homes, and serving as a constant reminder for those who remained on the planet, teaching them the importance of peace through painful experience.

As a consequence of this civil war, the Bith's living environment became extremely harsh. To prevent incursions from mutated flora and fauna, the Bith chose to construct bottomless underground cities within high mountains or sky-high cities reaching into the clouds. Relying on their wisdom, their high-tech civilization did not decline. Most Bith who emigrated utilized their unique sensory advantages to become musicians, scientists, or engineers. The language spoken by the Bith is Bith, composed of pictograms, but it has gradually been forgotten since the end of the civil war, so the most common method of communication remains the Republic's official language.

The Bith can be found in any scene featuring Tatooine, with the most memorable for fans being the band Figrin D'an and Modal Nodes, which appeared in the cantina. This band consists of seven Bith members and boasts a hit song, "Mad about me". In the Old Republic era, a Bith Sith named Darth Tenebrous also existed, who was a highly skilled starship designer and responsible for the training and development of many early Sith. Several Bith Jedi Knights have also appeared, and we look forward to seeing them in future works!
