Following the release of "Iron Man" and "Captain America" from the "TECH-ON AVENGERS" theme, a collaboration between Marvel Comics and the popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series, issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the third character to appear is "Venomized Wolverine" (tentative translation, ヴェノム シンビオート ウルヴァリン)! It is scheduled for release in November 2022.
In the short comic series 《TECH-ON AVENGERS》, a collaboration between MARVEL and BANDAI SPIRITS, Earth's superheroes lost their original superpowers due to Red Skull, leaving them almost powerless against Red Skull and his army. Just as Captain America was about to perish, Tony Stark arrived in time and had the heroes don his newly developed power suits, transforming the Avengers into Iron Avengers to launch a counterattack!
This Symbiote-controlled Wolverine appeared in TECH-ON AVENGERS Issue 5. It is the result of a greatly weakened "Venom," defeated by the heroes in Issue 2, invading Wolverine's armor to absorb energy. Not only did its power greatly increase, instantly tearing apart "Scream Supreme," a product of Red Skull's Advanced Symbiote Project, but its adamantium claws can also extend for attack.
The "TECH-ON AVENGERS Venomized Wolverine" action figure perfectly recreates the corrupted, power-crazed black design from the comic, where Wolverine was invaded by Venom. The original blue and yellow armor has transformed into a primary palette of dark blue and gray, complemented by striking pink hoses. The head sculpt, after Venomization, reveals sharp fangs and menacing red eyes, giving it an overall ferocious appearance! The sharply defined armor also features various colors, showcasing rich layering within its intimidating dark tones. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands, adamantium claws, and extended claw parts, making this a truly powerful and unique Wolverine piece, highly recommended to all toy enthusiasts.
