American toy brand NECA, in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Universal Monsters horror film "The Invisible Man (1933)," has launched the "Invisible Man 7-inch Action Figure," recreating the mysterious classic character from film history!
The 1933 horror film "The Invisible Man," adapted from the original novel by sci-fi master H.G. Wells, was directed by James Whale and starred Claude Rains. The plot tells the story of the brilliant scientist Dr. Griffin, who, obsessed with finding a way to make humans invisible, invents an invisibility serum. After becoming invisible, he transforms into a mysterious figure with a bandaged head and tightly wrapped body. His strange behavior unsettles those around him, and during his invisibility, his personality becomes eccentric, he gradually loses his sanity, and ultimately becomes a terrifying invisible killer...
The "NECA Invisible Man 7-inch Action Figure" cleverly recreates the character's invisible head from the film, allowing a glimpse into the mad void beneath the bandages! It comes with four interchangeable head sculpts (?), including fully bandaged, jaw exposed, facial features exposed, and fully transparent. Paired with accessories such as gloved hands, goggles, a fake nose, a notebook, a wig, and a cup with a straw, fans can brilliantly recreate scenes from the Invisible Man. In addition to the invisible appearance with the head and hands removed, collectors can also recreate the fully nude, fully invisible look!
