Japan's prize toy manufacturer Furyu (フリュー株式会社)'s high-quality figure brand F:NEX, following the announcement that MAPPA's anime "Chainsaw Man" will air at the end of this year, has also revealed sales information for its latest product, the "Power" 1/7 Scale Figure! With a suggested retail price of 34,980 JPY, pre-orders open from July 5, 2022, at F:NEX and MAPPA ONLINE SHOP, with a scheduled release in July 2023.
"Chainsaw Man," a dark shonen manga series created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of Denji (publisher's translation, phonetically "Denji"), a boy who makes a living by slaying devils. After an unexpected rebirth, he gains new "chainsaw" powers and joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters to fight various devils. He partners with "Power," a Blood Fiend who also belongs to the "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4" and can create various weapons from her own blood.
Although Power claims to be a "super terrifying devil," she always plays dead or runs away when encountering strong enemies. She appears as a blonde, golden-eyed girl with prominent devil horns on her head, and red circles and crosses in her eyes; she has a short temper and a habit of lying, and despite having a small bust, she likes to wear breast pads to feign a larger chest.
The F:NEX "Power" 1/7 Scale Figure, with a total height of approximately 22 cm, faithfully recreates Power's distinctive features such as her red circular and cross-shaped eyes and prominent devil horns on her head. She wears the Public Safety Devil Hunters uniform half-tucked, paired with a loose hooded jacket, tie, and sneakers, recreating Power's unique style~ The base is designed with a ground full of bloody weapons, with gradient colors and a glossy finish, showcasing a powerful and bloody aesthetic. Power's face displays a fearless, confident smile, making her both cute and charming!
