Following the release of "Spider-Gwen," American collectible manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles' "Premium Format Figure" statue series has recently unveiled its latest Spider-Man themed masterpiece, the "Miles Morales" full body statue, designed to complement the previous release! Both a Regular and an EX version will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date of April-June 2023.
Standing approximately 59.7 cm tall, this piece is designed around the scene of Miles Morales swinging through the air above New York City. His right hand pulls a web-line while his left prepares to shoot another, creating an extremely dynamic pose. The contracted limbs, bent legs, and dramatically flowing jacket all contribute to the statue's immense tension! High levels of sculpting artistry are also applied to the muscle definition, fabric wrinkles, and details such as the sneakers, mask, and chest spider emblem.
The base also continues the style of the previous "Spider-Gwen" release, creating a special perspective-driven skyscraper scene, complete with a train speeding along the tracks, whose speed-induced distortion is quite interesting. The EX version will include an additional unmasked Miles Morales head sculpt, echoing the video call screen on Gwen's phone.
