Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys yesterday (13th) announced several new products available for pre-order at the upcoming annual event, the "Hot Toys Summer Showcase 2022 Collectible Figures Exhibition." This article brings you information on the "Wolverine 1973 Version" 1/6th scale collectible figure from the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past"!
This figure stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It is designed based on Wolverine's casual attire after he travels back to 1973 in "Days of Future Past" and beats up gang members. The outfit includes a tailor-made blue floral shirt, jeans, an engraved leather belt, and a real leather jacket. The head sculpt not only faithfully captures actor Hugh Jackman's likeness, hairstyle, and beard from that era, but also perfectly renders his furrowed brow and vigilant expression. After removing the leather jacket and rolling up the shirt sleeves, you can even see the bulging veins on his arms – incredibly cool! Accessories include a black long-sleeved shirt, multiple interchangeable hands including bone claws, and a pair of seamless forearm-and-fist bone claw hands.
The Deluxe Version will include a battle-themed display base (the Regular Version's display base is not included in the Deluxe Version). This base is believed to be inspired by the stadium battle, featuring grass, bent rebar, and rubble etched with Wolverine's claw marks, fully showcasing the intensity of the battle and Magneto's power. Additionally, the Special Edition, available for early pre-order at the "Hot Toys Summer Showcase 2022 Collectible Figures Exhibition," will include an additional Sentinel forearm with a Gatling gun.
