Following the release of "Bumblebee" and "Optimus Prime," Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero's articulated figure series "MDLX" recently unveiled its latest product from Transformers: "Megatron"! Expected to ship in Q4 2022.
Compared to the "DLX" series, "MDLX" offers characters in a more compact size while maintaining exquisite sculpting and articulation, making them available at a more accessible price point. This figure stands approximately 18 cm tall and boasts 45 points of articulation. While retaining the original 80s animated design, it incorporates new elements such as intricate mechanical structures and extensive panel lining on the armor surface, creating a more modern interpretation of "Megatron"! The overall color scheme is predominantly black and silver, accented with striking red details on the abdomen, elbows, and inner feet. The materials chosen include a special die-cast zinc alloy and an engineering-grade plastic frame, all finished with threezero's signature realistic weathering effect. The substantial metallic feel combined with the tough, imposing design is truly awesome!
Accessories include the classic weapon "Fusion Cannon," a Back Cannon, and multiple interchangeable hand parts. According to the official images, the Fusion Cannon and Back Cannon can be equipped separately on the right forearm and behind the back, respectively. Furthermore, the Back Cannon can be combined with the Fusion Cannon, further enhancing its versatility!
