Japan's "Shono Kikaku" (Shono Planning) is launching a new soft vinyl toy brand, the "MARBO TAKUMI COLLECTION" series, which is scheduled to release new soft vinyl toys in December 2022, featuring the Kasukabe Defense Force from "Crayon Shin-chan" (クレヨンしんちゃん)!
In the original work, Shin-chan and several of his classmates from Futaba Kindergarten formed an organization called the "Kasukabe Defense Force" (カスカベ防衛隊). While the name sounds impressive, it's actually an organization that doesn't do much (lol), and they even arbitrarily use Teacher Yoshinaga's and Teacher Matsuzaka's homes as their base. However, the Kasukabe Defense Force is quite active in the theatrical films. Their basic slogan is "Kasukabe Defense Force, FIRE!". The core members are usually five, but depending on the situation, different members often join. Incidentally, the Kasukabe Defense Force has no actual leader (because everyone wants to be the boss), and the team members have titles like Leader, Captain, Queen, Captain, BOSS, and occasionally even President, Chairman, or Major Shareholder.
This is the second soft vinyl toy release from MARBO TAKUMI COLLECTION. Following the previous release of Shin-chan as Action Mask, this time they are launching five soft vinyl figures at once, featuring the five members of the Kasukabe Defense Force: Shin-chan, Kazama, Bo-chan, Masao-kun, and Nene-chan. Each is dressed in a battle suit symbolizing their respective color, wearing helmets and white boots, looking like well-trained sentai members – quite majestic and adorable!
