US retail group TARGET recently announced the super cute Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed action figures, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Cartoon 4-Pack" (TMNT – Cartoon 4-Pack), launched by Playmates Toys! Now available for pre-order on the TARGET official website.
The colorful "TOON TURTLES" lettering visible on the back card of this carded toy is the name of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure sub-line launched by Playmates Toys in 1993. The word TOON would be added before the character's name, for example, "Toon Leo," "Toon Mike." The style of the four Turtle brothers' action figures in this line became incredibly cute, with excellent depiction of their eyes and changes in expression, and each character also featured interesting playability.
The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Cartoon 4-Pack," produced in a 6-inch scale, each features 12 points of articulation, essentially fully restoring the design characteristics of the TOON TURTLES series of Ninja Turtle toys. Each Turtle's facial contours and expressions exude a strong sense of retro charm. In addition to their signature weapons, pizza, TV, communicator, and other accessories, the four brothers also come with different play mechanisms: Leonardo's eyes pop out, Raphael's head can turn, Donatello's bandana spins, and Michelangelo can stick out a long tongue. All these functions are operated by mechanisms on their backs, making them incredibly fun! Furthermore, the TV-shaped packaging box greatly enhances their collectible value.
