「Destroy Buzz Lightyear!」
Following the earlier releases of "Woody ver1.5" and "Buzz Lightyear ver 1.5" from Kaiyodo, a long-established Japanese toy company, and its popular articulated figure series "Revoltech (リボルテック)", the company has now officially announced a new product from "Toy Story": "Zurg" (ザーグ)! It is scheduled for release in February 2023.
The evil Emperor "Zurg," making his debut in the Revoltech series, stands approximately 15.5 cm tall and features 18 points of articulation. He faithfully recreates the purple, black, and red color scheme from the animation, with striking yellow accents on the chest emblem and mouth. The silver paint on the forearms also boasts a metallic sheen. In addition to the impressive main body, the highly impactful weapon, the "ION BLASTER," is also full of intricate details. It can be securely attached using the interchangeable hand designed to hold the weapon grip, and this time, an independent yellow projectile is also included for play. Kaiyodo's official website also specifically reminds that this ION BLASTER does not feature a firing mechanism.
