TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., today announced that the latest product from the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" series, which combines metallic paint finishes and die-cast frames, will be the "RX-93 ν Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Equipped Type)" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack MSV". Full product details are set to be revealed on October 31st.
The RX-93 ν Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Equipped Type) being commercialized this time is based on the original Ver.1 design that appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack MSV". Its backpack features three Fin Funnels on each side, and the design of some armor parts, the beam rifle, and the shield also differ from the standard ν Gundam. However, there is no difference in performance. This form has been commercialized less frequently compared to the Ver.2 version, which mounts 12 Fin Funnels.
Currently, only a product silhouette has been revealed for the "RX-93 ν Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Equipped Type)". It adopts the same pose as the original design sketch, and by brightening the image, one can see that the overall armor design has been faithfully reproduced.
