Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY today announced the latest product in their popular 'figma' action figure series, the "Fluted Armor" from the fully remade action RPG 'Demon's Souls' on the PS5 platform, scheduled for release in October 2023.
The Fluted Armor is the default armor used by players who choose the "Knight" class in the game, and it is also the most recognizable and popular equipment, appearing on the game's package cover and in the opening cinematic. This set of equipment not only boasts a cool design but also offers excellent overall defense and resistance, making it a favorite for many players who likely used it throughout their entire playthrough.
The "figma Fluted Armor" is based on the high-resolution sculpt from the remake's new model, faithfully reproducing the elaborate fluted patterns and chainmail details across the entire body. This includes dents, damage, and other weathering effects meticulously sculpted onto metal surfaces and leather edges. It is further enhanced with luxurious metallic paintwork and weathering effects to capture the armor's silver-white luster and aged stains. Each joint utilizes figma's unique joint parts, offering high strength and flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic combat poses from the game.
The accessory parts include a luxurious lineup of popular armaments, such as the "Broadsword," "Kite Shield," "Knight Sword," "Meat Cleaver," "Dark Silver Shield," "Iron Knuckles," and the iconic "Moonlight Greatsword," a weapon that has appeared throughout the Souls series. Each weapon also features high-quality metallic paintwork and weathering effects, while the Moonlight Greatsword utilizes clear material to express the glowing texture of its blade.
