Following Kamen Rider Ryuki, the highly popular character model kit series "Figure-rise Standard," released by BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division of Japan, today announced its latest product, "Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Ryuga," with an anticipated release in April 2023.
Appearing in the movie "Kamen Rider Ryuki EPISODE FINAL," Kamen Rider Ryuga is a Kamen Rider transformed by another Shinji Kido from the Mirror World after forming a contract with Dragblacker. His appearance and techniques are similar to Ryuki's, but he is clad in a mysterious jet-black body, and all his basic abilities are stronger than Ryuki's. He can also summon his Contract Monster, Dragblacker, for combined combat and unleash his special move, "Dragon Rider Kick," enveloped in black flames.
"Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Ryuga" is based on the previously released Ryuki, with modifications. It features newly sculpted parts for the head, feet, and belt to reproduce distinct features from Ryuki, such as the red eyes, dragon crest on the head, and mask shape. It utilizes EXTRA FINISH processed silver, metallic silver, black, metallic black, and other molding colors to present Ryuga's jet-black body. The included stickers allow for the reproduction of the golden lines across the body and the belt pattern. For the grille-like mask, parts with or without slits can be chosen for painting to recreate the fierce red eyes peering through the gaps!
The set also includes Ryuga's Contract Monster, "Dragblacker." It is modified from the Dragreder parts, boasting a massive length of 63 cm and multiple articulated joints. Its jet-black body is reproduced with molding colors and stickers. Furthermore, its body can be separated into the Drag Saber, Drag Shield, and Drag Claw for Ryuga to equip. The accessories also include five PET material Rider Cards and a dedicated hand for holding cards. The Advent Deck can be slid open to recreate the card loading pose. Combined with Dragblacker, you can pose him performing the cool scene of his special move, "Dragon Rider Kick."
