The highly popular character model kit series 'Figure-rise Standard', released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., is set to launch its second product in the "Ultraman" series, "Ultraman Zero," on December 17, 2022. Bandai has preemptively revealed the box art and prototype before the product's release!

The son of Ultraseven, 'Ultraman Zero' possesses extremely high warrior qualities and is known as the strongest young warrior in the Land of Light, as well as the sworn enemy of Ultraman Belial. His personality is free-spirited and rough, yet gentle at heart. Due to overconfidence in his own strength and a desire for greater power, he approached the core of the "Plasma Spark Tower," committing a taboo. He left the Land of Light under the guise of "exile," but in reality, he was taken by his father to the frontier planet K76 to be re-trained in mind, body, and spirit by Ultraman Leo and Astra. When Belial's escape caused a crisis, Zero, having grown in both mind and body, returned to the Land of Light as a warrior and successfully repelled Belial with his hard-trained powerful combat techniques.

The "Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Zero" features a precise part separation design. From the complex red, blue, and silver interwoven color blocks on the abdomen, legs, and other areas, to the gold and silver armor-like chest and shoulders inherited from his father, and other full-body colors, all can be reproduced through molded part colors and a minimal number of color-correcting stickers, achieving a very high level of completion without the need for painting.

Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, green/red color timers, and the weapon Zero Slugger, formed from the head darts, as well as the enhanced equipment "Ultimate Bracelet" used when transforming into the enhanced form "Ultimate Zero." By replacing parts, you can also recreate the appearance of the head darts removed, holding both darts in both hands as dual swords, or attaching both darts to the chest for the powerful beam technique "Zero Twin Shoot!"

In terms of articulation, in addition to inheriting the series' excellent designs, the shoulders feature pull-out joints to reduce interference with the chest sculpt's articulation, further enhancing the range of arm elevation. The silver part at the front of the neck also features a unique interlocking embedding mechanism; when the head tilts forward, the silver part retracts inward, expanding the range of forward head tilt. With these flexible articulated joints, you can recreate Zero's various cool combat poses, impressive kneeling poses, sitting poses, and other scenes from the show.
