The brand new everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series launched by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, 'Sousai Shojo Teien,' recently announced the latest product, 'After School Accessories: Madoka's Greedy Summer Vacation Set,' scheduled for release in June 2023.
'Sousai Shojo Teien' is a new 1/10 scale plastic model kit series developed by Kotobukiya in collaboration with popular Japanese illustrator En Morikura. The series features ordinary yet distinct high school girls as its theme, highlighting five key features: creation, painting, decoration, swapping, and collecting. You can use different hair parts, expressions, accessories, and even dedicated parts for various poses to create your favorite female characters. Additionally, by adding separately sold 'AFTER SCHOOL' diorama parts, you can set up rich scenes such as dining at a fast-food restaurant or studying at a desk!
Following the announcement of the swimsuit series characters, Kotobukiya has also launched the 'After School Accessories: Madoka's Greedy Summer Vacation Set' to add a touch of summer flair. Like other character products, this set is 1/10 scale and produced using 7 different molded colors. The contents include common beach items such as a lounge chair, a beach volleyball, and various drinks and frozen treats like tropical fruit parfaits, ice cream floats, ice cream, sports drinks, tea, soda, and ramune bottles. There's even a scoop of ice cream dropped on the ground, allowing you to recreate the youthful and adorable daily lives of the girls.
This kit also includes new expression parts for Madoka Yuki: 'Grinning Face' and 'Frustrated Face,' with one pre-painted and one unpainted for each, as well as a set of water decals with expression patterns, allowing Madoka Yuki to be posed in an even wider variety of scenes!
