Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which sculpts from the bone structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, today announced the latest product from 'Kamen Rider OOO', 'Kamen Rider Birth', is scheduled for release in June 2023.
Kamen Rider Birth is a human-enhancement combat suit developed by Kiyoto Maki, director of the Kougami Foundation's Biological Research Institute. Qualified individuals such as Akira Date and Shintaro Goto can transform by wearing the 'Birth Driver' transformation belt and inserting ordinary Core Medals. While its usage conditions seem easier than Kamen Rider OOO, both using the Birth CLAWS system's enhanced armaments and performing special moves require a large number of ordinary Core Medals. An assistant is needed nearby to constantly replenish the Medals to maintain combat power comparable to OOO.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Birth' stands at 14.5 cm tall and features highly flexible articulation, faithfully recreating the physique of the suit actor from the show. It boasts intricate sculpting that reproduces the armor and belt, which integrate the image of a gashapon machine, and is finished with metallic silver, metallic green, and other color coatings to express a weighty texture. Accessories include a replaceable head part that can reproduce the red glowing effect, various interchangeable hand parts, ordinary Core Medals, and the 'Birth Buster' machine gun, which can hold ordinary Core Medal magazines in three locations, allowing for the recreation of cool battle poses from the series.
Furthermore, TAMASHII NATIONS also announced that Kamen Rider Birth's enhanced armament, 'CLAWs・Sasori', which is composed of 6 types of Birth CLAWS system enhanced armaments, is also confirmed for commercialization! In addition to forming a scorpion mode, all 6 Birth CLAWS armaments can be detached individually and attached to Kamen Rider Birth, allowing for the recreation of Kamen Rider Birth's full armament form, 'Birthday'!
