Today, BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., announced that its popular assembly model candy toy series, 『SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT』, will release new products based on the popular hot-blooded anime "Gurren Lagann". Silhouettes of the planned mechs have been revealed, but the release date is yet to be determined.

Most of the giant robots appearing in "Gurren Lagann" are known as "Ganmen". Originally weapons created by the Old Spiral Race to combat the Anti-Spiral Race, they are characterized by their massive facial features on their bodies and are equipped with a special "Spiral Engine" that can enhance or even evolve the unit based on the pilot's Spiral Power. However, after being defeated and fleeing to Earth, the Spiral King, Lordgenome, to prevent the surface human population from growing too large and attracting the Anti-Spiral Race, entrusted most of the manufactured Ganmen to Beastmen pilots, tasking them with sweeping away humans who ventured to the surface and suppressing their numbers.
The mech silhouettes currently revealed by SMP are Gurren Lagann, piloted by protagonists Simon and Kamina, and Enki, piloted by the Beastman Viral. More detailed product information is expected to be announced at a later date.
