The anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury" is currently airing and is quite popular. Its protagonist mobile suit, Gundam Aerial, had its ROBOT SPIRITS release earlier, and I immediately acquired it. However, due to work, I only now have time to unbox it and provide a brief review.

In terms of articulation, there are absolutely no issues. Recent protagonist mobile suits, from EXIA to Barbatos, have tended towards simplified designs, with the main body not being cumbersome, aiming for high poseability. This Gundam Aerial is no exception. The range of motion for the arms, legs, and waist is quite extensive, certainly offering ample play value. (Judging from the anime's progress, there seems to be a modified version coming, which means more spending.)

Regarding the paint application, there are no major issues. The common "plasticky feel" often seen in ROBOT SPIRITS figures is absent, which is a good point. Especially the head, the paintwork on the head vulcans is quite detailed and commendable.

In terms of weaponry, two beam sabers and one beam rifle are standard equipment, and there are no major issues with them.

As for its iconic armament — the GUND-Bits. These bits can either be mounted on the body (like armor) or, with the included connectors, posed in their firing state.

When these GUND-Bits are mounted on the body, they are very stable, with no falling off during play. There are also quite a few connectors, but unfortunately, the angles cannot be finely adjusted, which is a bit of a pity! Because the angles cannot be adjusted, the firing trajectories appear quite rigid. Actually, only 4 connecting posts are needed to mount all the bits, not 6.

Furthermore, although the shield is heavy, it connects to the arm at two points (held by hand, and an insertion point at the elbow), making it very secure when held.

Overall, the toy's performance is good. As part of the ANIME series, I look forward to more subsequent releases.

Currently, the toy still has some shortcomings:

1. Too few armaments, leading to insufficient playability.

2. More play options could be included; for example, the GUND-Bit stands are too rigid, aren't they?

3. It was said to have light-up components, but none are visible; it's all just a dark area...
