HobbyJapan's figure brand AMAKUNI, in collaboration with Amiami, is launching the latest "Chainsaw Man" themed product: the "Power" 1/7 scale figure. The suggested retail price is 27,500 JPY, with an anticipated release in April 2024!
From Tatsuki Fujimoto's dark shonen manga series "Chainsaw Man," the popular female character Power (パワー) appears at first glance to be a beautiful girl with blonde hair and golden eyes, featuring prominent devil horns on her head. However, her personality is wild and uninhibited, often referring to herself with arrogant pronouns like "ore" or "o-sama." While she claims to be a "super terrifying devil," she often feigns death or flees when facing strong opponents. She is short-tempered, prone to lying, and despite having a small bust, she enjoys wearing breast pads to feign a larger chest.
The amiami×AMAKUNI "Power" 1/7 scale figure brings to life Power's casual attire from her first visit to Aki Hayakawa's home! It faithfully recreates her pink crew-neck top with "76.1" printed on it, high-waisted jeans, and other elements of her outfit. Her arrogant expression, brimming with a sense of power, is vividly sculpted, with her eyes conveying both wildness and a hint of disdain. Her flowing hair and impressive jagged teeth are meticulously carved. Details such as the inner strap peeking from her collar, the distressed texture of her jeans, the stitching on her sneakers, and the leather texture are all carefully reproduced.
To accurately represent Power's physique, the lines of her neck and waist are sculpted to evoke a sense of a beautiful girl. The massive Blood Hammer she stands upon is also three-dimensionalized at the same size as in the original work, featuring a rich, blood-soaked paint application. The cracked marks on the base further convey the immense weight of the Blood Hammer, faithfully recreating the Blood Fiend's imposing presence!
